'Response: Andreas Gursky' Live Performance by Mandel (Emily Hall and Misha Law)

  • Hayward Gallery Southbank Centre (map)

Experience the work of German photographer Andreas Gursky from a new perspective, with new music from electronic artist Scanner (Robin Rimbaud) and duo Mandel (Emily Hall & Misha Law) performed live in the newly re-opened Hayward gallery.

Duo Mandel (Emily Hall & Misha Law) are musicians who generate and develop material together through mindful improvisation. Their latest work is inspired by the photo Nha Trang, Gursky’s image of factory workers in Vietnam constructing wicker furniture, and mirrors the image’s swirling macro and micro perspectives, pointing to a shared sense of being human.
