  • gloucester cathedral (map)

Marking the 50th anniversary of Earth Day (on 22 April) and the Global Earth Day Network, a specially designed programme will be performed by the Stroud Fringe Choir for the beautiful acoustics of the Cathedral’s Lady Chapel. This one-of–a-kind concert will create a restorative atmosphere for reflection in light of the climate crisis.

The repertoire will include a world premiere of a set of specially written choral pieces by composer Emily Hall with lyrics by Toby Litt and other songs written by Stroud musicians including Emily Barker and Blythe Pepino. Stroud Fringe Choir is a choir collective made up of composers, singer-songwriters, artists and high -standard adventurous amateurs.

Tickets will be available at £7 per person with all profits being donated to Earth Day and can be booked via Eventbrite https://bit.ly/2KKuFzL
